The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 today, July 20. Following the Supreme Court’s directive, the NTA has released the NEET UG results both centre-wise and city-wise. The results are now available on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in. To check the NEET UG 2024 results, candidates will need the exam centre code.
How to Check NEET UG 2024 City and Centre-Specific Results:
- Visit the official NEET UG 2024 website at exams.nta.ac.in.
- Find and click on the link labeled “NEET (UG) Result 2024 City/Centre Wise.”
- This will open the results page.
- Select your state and city, then choose the relevant centre.
- Click on “View Details.”
- The NEET city-wise results PDF will appear.
The result PDF will show limited details, including the serial number and marks obtained, but will not include identifiable information such as roll numbers or names.
The Supreme Court had instructed the NTA to release the NEET results in this manner to assess if candidates from allegedly compromised centres had higher scores than those from other locations.
On July 22, a bench consisting of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justices JB Pardiwala, and Manoj Misra will hear petitions regarding the cancellation of the exam, a potential re-test, and a court-monitored investigation into allegations of malpractice in the NEET UG 2024 exam. The court also directed the NTA to keep students’ identities confidential in the centre-wise results.
