CBSE 2024 Update : Don’t Follow these Fake Social Media Handles During 2024 Board Exams – CBSE Shares List

In response to the worrying rise in fake social media handles imitating the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Board has taken a proactive approach to combating misinformation. Around 30 X handles misusing CBSE name and logo have been identified and their list has been released.

CBSE has stressed that its only official X account is ‘@cbseindia29’, cautioning the public against relying on unofficial sources for accurate information. The CBSE notice underlines the board’s commitment to combating misinformation and protecting the integrity of its official communications.

By highlighting the spread of fake social media handles, CBSE aims to protect the public from misleading information and maintain trust in its official channels.

The list of identified handles misusing the CBSE name and logo warns the public to exercise caution while engaging with information on social media platforms. CBSE has initiated appropriate action against these unauthorized handles to prevent the spread of misinformation.

Going forward, CBSE emphasizes the importance of relying solely on its verified official X handle, @cbseindia29, for authentic updates and announcements. By following this official channel, individuals can ensure that they receive accurate information directly from CBSE, thereby avoiding the risks associated with misinformation spread by unauthorized sources.

The board had earlier revealed comprehensive information regarding the upcoming board exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 in 2024. These exams, starting from February 15 to April 2, 2024, will maintain the same start time of 10:30 am (IST). All specified dates.

For Class 10, the exams will begin with Sanskrit on February 19, 2024, followed by Hindi on February 21, 2024. The examinations for English, Science, Home Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Information Technology will be conducted on dates to be specified later in March.

Similarly, Class 12 exams will begin on February 22, 2024, with English for science stream students, followed by Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Physical Education, Biology and Computer Science on different dates in March and April. The exam will be conducted.

For Arts stream students, the examinations will begin on February 19, 2024, with Hindi Elective and Hindi Core papers, followed by English and other humanities subjects throughout March. The Sociology final exam is scheduled for April 1, 2024, which marks the end of the examination period for both class 10 and class 12 students.
