CBSE Class 11th Sociology Syllabus 2023-24 : Explore Deleted Chapters and Topics

The subject is identified by the code 039 in the CBSE curriculum. Recently, CBSE has made changes to the Class 11 Sociology syllabus, specifically removing certain units. CBSE Class 11 Sociology Deleted Syllabus 2023-2024 

The CBSE syllabus encompasses a wide range of essential topics aimed at enriching students’ understanding of the subject. In light of recent developments, CBSE has made the decision to exclude certain units from the Class 11 Sociology syllabus. Previously, the syllabus consisted of ten units, but now three units have been entirely removed. CBSE Class 11 Sociology List of Rationalized Content 2023-24

The NCERT textbooks are idle copies to follow the CBSE syllabus. As per the list of rationalised content released by NCERT there have been no deletion done to the Sociology part of Class 11. Thus, students can continue to refer to the previous textbooks while ignoring the dropped units.
