The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has published the commencement dates for classes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for the academic session of the class of 2024 on their official website, josaa.nic.in. In addition to the start dates, JoSAA has also provided the reporting dates for selected candidates to their allocated institutes, registration details for programme commencement, and orientation session timings.
According to the schedule, classes at IIT Bhilai are scheduled to commence on July 30. New students are required to report and complete their registration at the institute by July 24. The orientation sessions for new students will take place from July 24 to 29. For detailed schedules of classes at other IITs, please refer to the table provided below.

The JoSAA seat allotment round 1 and round 2 lists are already out on June 20 and June 27 respectively. The third, fourth and fifth seat allotment lists will be issued on July 4, July 10 and July 17 respectively.
