- Overall Day 5 Shift 2 was on a difficult side compared to the other four days. It was Moderate to Difficult.
- Unlike other days, Chemistry was not easy, it was a bit tricky this time.
- Physics was Easy compared to Chemistry.
- Distribution of weightage was the uniform for both Class 11th and 12th syllabus.
- Majority of questions were asked from Modern Physics.
- In physics, more applied questions were asked compared to direct formula based questions.
- Mathematics was tough and lengthy.
- On an average students attempted 13 to 14 questions in mathematics.
- Organic chemistry and Inorganic chemistry were more compared to Physical chemistry.
- In physics 3 to 4 questions were tricky.
JEE Main 2024 April 9 Shift 2 Paper Analysis OUT
- Physics – Moderate. At least 8 to 9 questions from Modern Physics. There was more weightage on the 12th standard syllabus and not many formula-based questions were present in the paper.
- Mathematics – Tough
- Chemistry – Moderate. There were 5-6 questions from Inorganic Chemistry present in the paper and all were match-up questions. There were more questions from 12th standard.
