JEE Main Session-1 Exam 2024 : 27 January Shift-1 Question Paper with Answer Key

National Testing Agency, NTA is conducting the JEE Mains 2024 Paper 1 BE and Btech exam on 27th, 29th, 30th, 31st of January, and 1st of February.  Paper was overall very easy 

This year, the shift 1 candidate of the January 27 exam felt the paper was very easy. Although maths was lengthy, but questions were easy. Chemistry and physics were very easy. Students feel the paper was good and they performed well.

• Overall exam was moderate to wasy in difficulty level.
• There paper was same as last year, no change in pattern.
• Maths was lengthy as always.
• Students say Physics was very wasy.
• Chemistry was moderate.
• There were no questions from deleted syllabus.
• In Physics most of the questions came from modern physics.
• In Maths, questions came from Elipse, Integration, Circle, Vector & 3D, Limit, sequence and Seriece, Trigonometry, Matrices and Determinants
• Students feel chemistry should be given importance while preparation.
• In Physics, questions came from moment of intertia, Electrostatic, Gravitation, Capacitance, Kinematics, Friction, Rotation, Current Electricity, Moment on interia, Ray Optics, Semiconductors.
• In Chemistry questions came from coordination compound, mole concept, S Block, Combustion
• In chemistry, inorganic had most weightage.
• Assertion and reasoning type questions were there.

 JEE Main 27 January 2024 Shift 1 : Things to Carry 

• JEE Main 2024 Admit Card downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear, preferably colour printout on A4 size paper).
• One Passport size photograph (same as uploaded with the Online Application Form) is to be pasted on the Attendance Sheet at the Centre.
• A valid Photo ID Proof in ORIGINAL (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/Aadhaar Card with photograph/E- Aadhaar/Ration Card/12th Class).
• Candidates can also carry: Personal transparent water bottle and a simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
