JEE Main Session-1 Exam 2024 : 31 January Shift-2 Analysis, Review & Question Paper with Answer Key

JEE Main 2024 Shift 2 ends on January 31. National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main January 31, 2024 exam today at various centers in the country and abroad. JEE Main 31th January exam shift 2 started at 9 am and will end at noon, shift 2 will start at 3 pm and end at 6 pm.

As per the schedule, JEE Mains 2024 (BE/B.Tech) Paper 1 exam is being conducted on January 31, 2024, in two shifts. The timing of 1st shift is from 9 am to 12 noon, and the timing of shift 2 is from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2024 Shift 2 Analysis 31 January: Highlights

Here are a few key takeaways from JEE Main 2024 January 31 Shift 2 question paper:

  • Maximum questions were from 12th syllabus
  • Easy, doable questions from Physics. Mainly formula-based and PYQ-based questions
  • In chemistry, theoretical questions were asked. It is important to read chapters and revise formulas thoroughly. Equal weightage from organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry
  • Many questions from Vector 3D have been asked in the Maths section
  • No major questions from the deleted syllabus were asked
  • Overall question paper was formula-based. Direct questions from all the subjects were asked.

Physics – In both the shifts, formula-based questions were asked. 

Chemistry- In shift 1, inorganic chemistry was at focus. Most of the questions were asked from the inorganic part. Students have said that d block, f block, and purification of organic compounds should be practised. In shift 2, students claimed that there were equal proportion of questions from inorganic and organic. 

Mathematics- Focus on time management. Stay calm and choose the questions wisely. Difficult questions with lengthy calculations were asked. Students from both the shifts though that Maths section was a bit difficult.
