The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2024 round 1 mock seat allotment results on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates who registered and filled in their choices before the deadline can now check their mock allotment results by logging into the candidate portal.

Key Information:

  • Programmes Offered: The KCET counselling process facilitates admission into various programmes, including engineering, architecture, yoga, naturopathy, and BPharm.
  • Option Priority: The choices entered by candidates for the first round will remain the same for all subsequent rounds. Candidates will not be allowed to enter new options for future rounds.

Modifying Options After Mock Allotment:

Now that the mock allotment results are out, candidates have the opportunity to add, delete, modify, or rearrange their options. These changes can be made until the deadline for the final seat allotment, and the finally saved options will be used for the official seat allocation.

  • Deadline for Modifications: Students have until August 11 to make changes in their order of preference. The final round 1 seat allotment results will be declared on August 21.

Options After KCET Seat Allotment Results 2024:

After the official round 1 seat allotment results are declared, candidates will have four choices:

  1. Choice 1: If satisfied with the allotted seat, candidates must pay the fees, download the admission order, and report to the college. They will not be eligible for other rounds if they have been allotted their first preference.
  2. Choice 2: Candidates who are satisfied with the seat but want to participate in the second round of KCET counselling can hold onto the allotted seat. They are not required to join the college immediately but can wait for the second round.
  3. Choice 3: If not satisfied with the allotment, candidates can choose to participate in the next round without holding any seat. They will still be able to continue in the process.
  4. Choice 4: Candidates also have the option to exit the allotment process entirely.

For those choosing options 2 or 3, they can alter, delete, or rearrange their choices for the next round. The final choices saved will be used for the seat allotment in the following rounds.
