Maharashtra CET 2024: Second Entrance Test Results on Aug 28

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell announced that the Common Admission Process (CAP) for BMS, BBM, BCA, and BBA courses will begin the day after the second entrance test results are released, which should be around August 28.

Online registration for these courses will close on September 6. The provisional merit list will be available on September 9. Students will have two days to submit any issues, and the final merit list will be released on September 13.

The second CET for these courses took place on Sunday. Many students have been waiting for updates about the admissions process for BMS, BBM, BCA, and BBA, which has been delayed for the 2024-25 academic year due to changes in how admissions are handled.

This year, admission to these undergraduate courses—Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), and Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)—will be based on CET scores instead of Class 12 marks.

The CET Cell held the first CET on May 29, with more than 55,000 students taking the test. After complaints that some students missed the exam because they didn’t know about the changes, a second CET was held on August 4. This time, 49,225 students registered, including 19,430 women.
