- New Official Website: All the important NEET exam details are now available at neet.ntaonline.in, the updated official website.
- Revised Application Fees: The application fee structure has changed. The general category registration fee is now Rs 1,700. Previously, non-Indian candidates had to pay Rs 9,500. The new fees are Rs 1,600 for EWS/OBC-NCL applicants and Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PwD categories.
- Updated Tie-Breaking Policy: The rule for breaking ties has been modified. Age and NEET UG application number no longer play a role. - Changes in Syllabus: The NEET syllabus has been revised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and NTA. Some topics are removed, and essential ones are added.
- Exam Duration and Pattern Variations: The NEET exam now lasts 200 minutes (3 hours and 20 minutes), from 2 pm to 5:20 pm IST. Candidates can choose to answer questions in one of two sections for each subject. In Section B, candidates can attempt any ten out of fifteen questions. Section A consists of thirty-five questions.”
