NEET UG 2024 Registration Starts: Apply Now and Learn How to Apply

National Testing Agency has opened online registration for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, NEET UG 2024 on February 9 and deadline to apply is March 9, 2024. Steps and direct link to apply can be checked here.

National Testing Agency, NTA has started National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2024 registration on February 9, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2024 through neet.ntaonline.in. The deadline to apply will end on March 9, 2024. While the qualifying percentile is only 50, students usually need to score a NEET Rank of upto 3 lakh to get admission in any of the medical/ dental seats.  NEET 2024: How to Apply Online 

Step 1- Registration- Go to the official website exams.nta.ac.in. In the next step, candidates should scroll down and click on ‘New Candidate Register Here’. Enter required details like candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, category, gender, identification type, mobile number, Email ID, password and security pin. Post entering the required details, application number and password will be generated.

Step 2- Fill up NEET Application Form 2024- Go to official website and look for tab which reads, ‘Only Registered Candidate Login Here’. Login by applcation number, aadhaar card or digilocker ID. Enter password and enter security pin as shared on screen. Candidates should then login.

Step 3- Fill in required details- In the next step, fill sections like Personal Details, Place of birth, Choice of Medium of Question Paper, Choice of exam centre, Academic Details, Permanent address, Correspondence Address, Details of Parents/ Guardian and other. Check all the details carefully as they cannot be changed after the final submission of the NEET 2024 application form

Step 4- Upload all required documents- Candidates should click on “Upload your recent documents” and then select the files to be uploaded. Click on “Next”

Step 5- Make Payment online- Select the desired mode of payment (SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI). Take screenshot of confirmation page.

Step 6- Download confirmation page- In the next step, candidates will have to dowload the confirmation page.

 Documents Required To Register Online 

  • Scanned passport photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb
  • Scanned Postcard photograph (4”x6”) should be between 10 kb – 200 kb
  • Class 10 pass certificate – 50 kb to 300kb
  • Scanned copy of the Citizenship certificate/Embassy certificate or any Documentary proof of Citizenship certificate – 50 kb to 300 kb
  • Scanned photographs, signature, and Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impressions in JPG format – – 50 kb to 300kb
  • Address proof of present address and permanent address – 50 kb to 300kb
  • Scanned Category Certificate (if applicable) – 50 kb to 300kb
  • Citizenship Certificate (if applicable) – 50 kb to 300kb
  • PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable) – 50 kb to 300kb
  • Scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb

 Important Information about NEET UG 2024 Exam 

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, 5 May 2024 (Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.

While application fee for general candidate is Rs 1,700, for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL, it is Rs 1,600 & for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender it is Rs 1,000.
